*************************************** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: *************************************** We WILL NOT be appearing at the Prior Lake VFW in the near future, as new management has taken over that establishment, and stated they're "taking a new direction" in music. That's NOT the place for all you Country Music Fans, I guess. Sorry folks! *************************************** The Dakota Ramblers Band is the ONLY opening act that has EVER received a standing ovation by a packed house at The Medina Entertainment Center. We opened for the great Don Williams in 2005 to a full house and had folks dancing in their seats and resulting in a rousing standing ovation.....bringing the owner of the Medina running up to our stage and asking us to do three more tunes before Don Williams and his band were to follow us. Don's band was NOT happy about our standing ovation and the fact that the Medina's owner asked us to do three more tunes.....What an amazingly FUN night that was! If you weren't there that night, you sure should have been! *************************************** We're coming back to the MEDINA Ballroom again soon...so stay tuned and feel free to contact either us or the Medina as to the exact dates we'll be back there! *************************************** Mike and Bruce had the honor this past November 29th, to perform with National Recording Artist John Michael Montgomery, at Traxler's Hunting Preserve, near LeCenter. It was so much fun and entertaining for all of us there. Doug Traxler showcased his musical talents for John Michael Montgomery. It was a fun time for all and once again, one of Country Music's biggest stars proved to be very approachable and very warm to all! We hope this opportunity comes at us again sometime soon! ************************************* Here's some of the Real Country Artist's Music We Play (in no particular order);

You've come to know us as a No-Flash, No-Fluff band. No loud, rock-'n-roll endings, screaming guitars and obnoxious lights blasting in your face. So, come on out and enjoy some real Honky-Tonkin', beer drinking, two-steppin, road-house shuffle, truck drivin', cheatin' and lovin' songs while you still can. Ain't too many of us playing this "Honky Tonk Country" anymore. We're STILL doin it! Don't be fooled by Johnny-come-lately wannabees.
